- Finance Committee – 3rd Wednesday of each month at 4:30pm (prior to the regularly scheduled board meeting. Located at NCA in the Admin Office.
- Policy Committee – 1st Friday of the month at 4:30pm. Located at Citizen’s Bank Suite 202, Downtown Hutchinson.

School Board Voting Procedures
Voting Guidelines
Section 6. Voting. At each meeting of the Members, every voting Member shall
have one (1) vote. Members may vote in person only, never by proxy. The affirmative vote of a majority of a quorum of voting Members shall constitute a duly authorized action of the membership.
Election of Directors
Section 7. Election of Directors. At an annual meeting or any special meeting for election and properly called, qualified members, including board members, staff members employed at the school, including teachers providing instruction under a contract with a cooperative, and all parents or legal guardians of children enrolled in the school are the voters eligible to elect the Members of the school’s board of directors. A charter school must notify eligible voters of the school board election dates at least 30 days before the election. Board of director meetings must comply with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13D. Members of the Corporation having the right to elect directors under the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 317A et. seq., shall elect the directors in accord with the outcome of voting.
Annual Spring Election Process
In addition, the annual election of new directors takes place at NCA’s spring family night. In which ballots and biographies of candidates are distributed to eligible voters. At the conclusion of the event, non-running board members tally the votes, and the candidate(s) who have secured the majority of the votes obtain the director seat for their new term starting on July 1 of the year.
