About Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)
Post-secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) allow 10th-12th grade students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Courses are taken at eligible postsecondary institutions, either on campus or online, with varying admissions requirements. 11th and 12th graders can enroll full- or part-time, while 10th graders have limited eligibility. Students must meet residency and eligibility criteria outlined in Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.09, with continued participation contingent on academic progress.
*If a school district determines a pupil is not on track to graduate, they may continue to participate in PSEO on a term by term basis.
PSEO Options Through Ridgewater College
We are fortunate to have Ridgewater College located here in Hutchinson. Students are able to register and take PSEO classes through the college either in-person or online.
Online PSEO
If students choose to take their courses online through Ridgewater, they would be assigned a classroom to work in and complete their course as one of their regular class periods.
