Knowledge Bowl Invitational Hosted by NCA on January 18th

On Saturday, January 18, NCA proudly hosted its second annual Knowledge Bowl Invitational, beginning at 9:00 a.m.. Knowledge Bowl is a program that is run by Minnesota Service Cooperatives. The competitions are interdisciplinary, academic contests designed for students in grades 7-12. During the contest, teams of students compete in written and oral rounds by answering questions related to all areas of learning typical of secondary educational programs. Questions test students’ recall, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. NCA is part of region 6 of the Minnesota Service Cooperatives Knowledge Bowl. Other teams in region 6 who attended this meet include Hutchinson, Willmar, Glencoe-Silver Lake, Lac Qui Parle Valley, Community Christian Schools in Willmar, New London Spicer, ACGC, Montevideo, KMS, Dawson-Boyd, MACCRAY, Lester Prairie, Canby, Yellow Medicine East, Benson, BOLD, and Ortonville. Over 200 students from these schools were in attendance at the meet. NCA also wishes to thank the staff and parents who volunteered for this event.
