Our Mission is to engage students in critical thinking and teamwork that empowers them toward life-long learning and global citizenship.

Important Dates

  • Special Note – all students will be taking NWEA tests this week in the afternoon – schedules are modified as necessary to facilitate testing.
  • Wednesday, October 5th – All 11th and 12th graders are attending the National College Fair at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
  • Thursday, October 6th – Student Council Meeting at noon
  • Monday, October 10th – Lifetouch Picture Day!
  • Monday October 10th – Staff Data Mine Day 2 Training
  • Monday, October 10th – McLeod for Tomorrow Student Leadership Training at 1:00PM
  • Tuesday, October 11th – Student Leadership Ethics Training with Hutch Schools!

Professional Learning

Professional Learning Communities will be meeting on Mondays from 2:15 – 3:00 to continue developing learning targets, formative assessments, and to further implement project seminar curriculum.

Highlights

  • Students and staff are excited to be back!
  • Our new online Rosetta Stone World Language program is now up and running!
  • Staff and students are working hard together to develop clear learning targets, and students will be monitoring themselves as part of this new and special process!
  • Student Council is off to a great start – congratulations to Alyssa Dahlke for being elected Student President! Also, congratulations to Marissa Bergseng for being elected Vice President, Molli Meyers for being elected Secretary, and Colby Richards as Chief Financial Officer!
  • Students had a great experience at the Renaissance Festival last week!
  • Staff just participated in a data mine conference, where we analyzed our student data and are making clear research based plans to achieving are shared goals!
  • Many more highlights to come as we get underway!
