Important Dates

  • Tuesday, October 18th – Advisory Afternoon, Extracurricular sign up, and more!
  • Tuesday, October 18th – Parent Teacher Conferences from 3:00PM to 8:00PM! We are excited to spend time with parents this week!
  • Wednesday, October 19th – Parent Teacher Conferences from 8:00AM to 3:00PM, no school for students.
  • Thursday October 20th – No School
  • Friday, October 21st – No School

Professional Learning

Professional Learning Communities will be meeting on Mondays from 2:15 – 3:00 to continue developing learning targets, formative assessments, and to further implement project seminar curriculum.

Highlights

  • Our new online Rosetta Stone World Language program is now up and running!
  • NCA is working towards goin google and using free google apps for education!
  • New and exciting 2nd Trimester Seminars will be released soon
  • Juniors and Seniors attended the National College Fair in Minneapolis and are working hard on ACT Prep and college applications!
  • Staff and students are working hard together to develop clear learning targets, and students will be monitoring themselves as part of this new and special process!
  • Student Council is off to a great start – congratulations to Alyssa Dahlke for being elected Student President! Also, congratulations to Marissa Bergseng for being elected Vice President, Molli Meyers for being elected Secretary, and Colby Richards as Chief Financial Officer!
  • Students had a great experience at the Renaissance Festival last week!
  • Staff just participated in a data mine conference, where we analyzed our student data and are making clear research based plans to achieving are shared goals!
  • Many more highlights to come as we get underway!
