This week is E-Term week at New Century!

Professional Learning

Professional Learning Communities will be meeting on Mondays from 2:15 – 3:15 to continue developing learning targets, common assessments, and to further implement project curriculum.

Highlights

  • MCA Testing went great – the kids worked hard!
  • New Century students are off to New York City!
  • Senior Presentations nights went phenomenal – great job seniors!
  • New Century prom went perfect!
  • Senior Presentations are under way and the kids are doing fantastic!
  • New Century earned our first ever Lacrosse victory beating St. Louis Park 9-2!
  • Students are raising funds for the NYC trip – thank you Applebee’s for your help!
  • New Century school play, the Twelve Angry Jurors has been going great!!
  • New Century Lacrosse is now up and running!
  • New Century Students performed well at the Math Counts competition at Gustavus!
  • New Century After School Reading and Math program started!
  • New Century received great press from the Hutch Leader Tuesday and Thursday of last week for the Spanish trip and E-Term – great job to all involved!
  • New Century Spanish classes had a great experience at the Concordia Language Village in Stillwater!
  • New Century students performed in the upper percentile of Minnesota on the ACT’s!
  • New Century planning trip to New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey!
  • After School Reading and Math Program starts in February!
  • New Century Girls Hockey First Game is Tuesday at Worthington High School!
  • New Century Acoustic Guitar Class is up and running!
  • New Century Student Council worked at Culvers to raise money for the school!
  • New Century 9-12 graders attended the National College Fair at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Look for the story in Tuesday’s edition of the Hutchinson Leader!
