This week is SNEEK Week at New Century!

  • Monday, February 14th – Supa-Snazzy Day!  Dress in your fancy clothes today!
  • Tuesday, February 15th – 70’s-90’s Day – Dress like the 70’s to the 90’s!
  • Tuesday, February 15th – After School Activities Club
  • Wednesday, February 16th – Pajama Day!!
  • Wednesday, February 16th – Spanish class goes to Concordia Language Village in Stillwater
  • Wednesday, February 16th – After School Activities Club
  • Thursday, February 17th – Copy Cat Day – Dress like a friend today!
  • Thursday, February 17th – Spanish class at Concordia Language Village
  • Thursday, February 17th – After School Aviation
  • Friday, February 18th – Ninja or Spy Day!  End the week in style!

Professional Learning

Professional Learning Communities will be meeting on Mondays from 2:15 – 3:15 to continue developing learning targets, common assessments, and to further implement project curriculum.

Highlights

  • · New Century Math Counts competed at Gustavus – the kids did great!
  • · New Century Lacrosse ready to get started!
  • · New Century Spanish class going to Concordia Language Village in Stillwater!
  • New Century students performed in the upper percentile of Minnesota on the ACT’s!
  • New Century planning trip to New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey!
  • SNEEK Week is February 14 – February 19!
  • After School Reading and Math Program starts in February!
  • New Century Girls Hockey First Game is Tuesday at Worthington High School!
  • New Century Acoustic Guitar Class is up and running!
  • New Century Student Council worked at Culvers to raise money for the school!
  • New Century 9-12 graders attended the National College Fair at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Look for the story in Tuesday’s edition of the Hutchinson Leader!
