- Monday, April 18th – Lacrosse practice!
- Tuesday, April 19th – New Century Board Meeting at 4:00PM, followed by the Great New Century Get Together at 5:30PM, and then the New Century Annual Meeting at 6:30PM!
- Tuesday, April 19th – Reading, Math, and Writing make up testing!
- Tuesday, April 19th – First ever New Century Lacrosse game at 5:00PM at the middle school!!
- Wednesday, April 20th – Reading, Math, and Writing make up testing!
- Wednesday, April 20th – Lacrosse practice!
- Thursday, April 21at – Lacrosse Game @ Delano!
Professional Learning
Professional Learning Communities will be meeting on Mondays from 2:15 – 3:15 to continue developing learning targets, common assessments, and to further implement project curriculum.
Highlights
- MCA Testing went great – the kids worked hard!
- Students are raising funds for the NYC trip – thank you Applebee’s for your help!
- New Century school play, the Twelve Angry Jurors has been going great!!
- New Century Lacrosse is now up and running!
- New Century Students performed well at the Math Counts competition at Gustavus!
- New Century After School Reading and Math program started!
- New Century received great press from the Hutch Leader Tuesday and Thursday of last week for the Spanish trip and E-Term – great job to all involved!
- New Century Spanish classes had a great experience at the Concordia Language Village in Stillwater!
- New Century students performed in the upper percentile of Minnesota on the ACT’s!
- New Century planning trip to New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey!
- After School Reading and Math Program starts in February!
- New Century Girls Hockey First Game is Tuesday at Worthington High School!
- New Century Acoustic Guitar Class is up and running!
- New Century Student Council worked at Culvers to raise money for the school!
- New Century 9-12 graders attended the National College Fair at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Look for the story in Tuesday’s edition of the Hutchinson Leader!
