A Look Ahead

  • For Senior Students and their Families: Mark your Calendars! Class of 2013 Commencement – Thursday, June 6th, 2013; Hutchinson Event Center; 7:00 pm
  • ACT test dates have been posted and given to all senior and junior students – check in and follow registration procedures at ACT.org.

Professional Learning

  • Professional Learning Communities will be meeting on Mondays from 2:30 – 3:00 to continue developing learning targets, formative assessments, and to further implement project seminar curriculum.

Highlights

  • NCA is off to a great start! Students are working hard, expectations are high, and we are all striving together towards excellence.
  • NCA students really enjoyed Seth Franco from the Harlem Globetrotters, thank you for coming and sharing your story with us Seth!!!
  • NCA students had a blast at the Renaissance Festival!
  • NCA students had a very productive experience at the National College Fair!
  • Spirit Week was fantastic!  Thank you to the Student Council for putting Spirit Week together, you did great!
  • Congratulations to all Block One Award Winners!!
  • NCA 10th Graders had a fantastic experience at Ridgewater Career Day – Thank you to Ridgewater for hosting this event
  • NCA Knowledge Bowl did a great job at their first official Meet @ New London Spicer High School.  Great job Mr. Meece and NCA Knowledge Bowl team!
  • Congratulations to all Trimester 1 Award Winners!!  Keep up the great work!
  • Congratulations to the NCA Middle School Knowledge Bowl team for making it to Regional’s!  Good Luck students and Mr. Meece!
  • NCA Student Council had a very successful and purposeful day of Leadership Training out at Prairie Woods – thank you Prairie Woods staff!
  • NCA WinterFest was a wild success, thank you to the Student Council for putting this event on, and thank you to everyone who attended!
  • Congratulations to all Block 3 Award Winners – well deserved!
  • NCA hosted a great Knowledge Bowl Meet on Saturday – thank you to all teams that came to compete!
  • NCA was chosen as a semi-finalist for the Toyota Drive for Education grant; Thank You Toyota!!!
  • Students did remarkable presenting “Anne of Green Gables!!”
  • NCA students served breakfast at Applebee’s, had a great time and raised some funds for their trip!  Thank you to everyone that came out to support NCA students!
