National Honor Society Students –

The Keep the Drive Smart Driving Leader Awards, made possible by The Allstate Foundation, are open to all NASC, NHS, and NJHS student members in middle level and high schools who are between the ages of 13–18. The awards recognize member students who spread the message of smart driving through on-the-ground activism projects held in their schools and communities. Students must organize, participate, and perform an activism project(s) in order to apply for an award. The Allstate Foundation will give (one) $2,000 award to a middle level student and (four) $2,000 awards to high school students.

Contest applications, student and adviser FAQs, and more are available at www.nhs.us/nslw. Completed applications must be e-mailed to [email protected] by April 28, 2010.

Students can also check out www.KeeptheDrive.com for project ideas and downloadable tools.
