NCA has started a new, school-wide project of collecting food for the McLeod County Emergency Food Shelf. The challenge is between advisories to collect the most items. Some examples of items needed include anything that doesn’t require refrigeration such as:

  • Dry food such as beans, rice, noodles, etc.
  • Canned vegetables,canned fruits
  • Soups, stews, sauces
  • Peanut butter, jelly, pickles
  • Oatmeal, granola bars, cereal
  • Juice
  • Paper products like toilet paper and Kleenix.
  • Baby products like diapers, wipes, baby food, formula.

Students should bring their donations to their advisory.
