NCA Students and Parents: I have decided to start posting questions and answers here on the site. My hope is that this will help answer questions as we continue to work through this ever changing situation.
1) Will there be an email/messaging going out this week letting parents and students know how next week and continuing weeks will work? We are still planning some things so I’ll continue to update when I have more concise information. I’m trying to avoid releasing some specific info and then having to change that. I don’t want to confuse people. We are preparing to finish the entire rest of the school year in a distance learning format. This will be a combination of online and paper.
2) Will there be a specific time for students to come to the school and pick up things from their locker/teachers? You can make an appointment with the office to come and pick up any items you need between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm. You can still do this, just contact the office to make sure someone can be there to help.
3) Is there a Chromebook my student can use during his online school time? You should have been contacted about technology capabilities. If you were not contacted, please let the office know. We will have a chromebook for students to use who don’t have a device. We have not figured out the distribution of the devices yet.
4) Will lunch continue to be delivered once online learning starts? Lunch/Breakfast will continue to be delivered once online learning begins.
