New Century has a long tradition of providing students with travel opportunities. We believe in the rich learning opportunities that travel provides. Every spring students load into vans or cars heading to places in Minnesota, Chicago, New York or to the Airport to travel to places like Costa Rica. Throughout my time at NCA I have planned and led trips to the Costa Rican rainforest, various state parks throughout Minnesota, and to Alaska. We look forward to continuing this tradition and providing students with rich learning opportunities.
The trip to Alaska was taken over the course of 9 days. We traveled from Anchorage to Seward and back up to Denali Park. We camped and toured many sites. The highlights included taking the bus into Denali park, visiting the Sealife center in Seward, and the Native Heritage Center.
