My name is Brett Damerow and this is my ninth year teaching at NCA. I taught two years in rural Alaska before I made my way to Hutchinson.
I have a biology degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls and recently earned my masters degree from Montana State. I currently teach general biology chemistry and AP biology. I am also a Jr. High advisor.
My favorite moments at NCA all revolve around student success and engagement. I also enjoy the close relationships formed at NCA between students, advisors and parents.
Outside of teaching I am an assistant girls varsity hockey coach and coach middle school baseball. When I go home I love spending time with my daughter Tayah, wife Siri and dog Bear. I try to spend as much time outside as possible skiing, hunting, camping or playing at the park.
I continue to enjoy working at NCA and look forward to a great year.
